Delete your Sketch Trace account

Request deletion without the app

Email contact@almostudiohq.com with the subject Delete my Sketch Trace account. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in on this website.

Where possible, send your request from the email address linked to your Sketch Trace Google or Apple sign-in account. If you cannot access that address, tell us so we can help verify ownership. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, authentication tokens, or payment-card details.

Opening this link does not submit a request. Review and send the message in your email app. Almo Studio LLC support verifies ownership, explains any further steps and expected completion time, and confirms deletion. Sending an email does not automatically delete an account.

Delete in the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. Choose whether to retain selected project copies in Guest or remove the complete local account workspace, then complete the sign-in verification and deletion confirmation. An internet connection is required for remote deletion.

Save or share snapshots and time-lapse videos before starting. Time-lapse videos and recording drafts are deleted with the account workspace even when you choose to retain project copies in Guest. Project copies do not include snapshots or time-lapse files.

A failed or cancelled remote deletion does not erase the local workspace. If the remote result is uncertain, access may be protected while deletion is resolved. If local cleanup is interrupted after remote deletion succeeds, the app retries cleanup.

What is deleted

• Your Sketch Trace Firebase Authentication identity, including its user identifier, linked sign-in provider information, and stored display name and email address.
• When deletion is completed in the app, the local account workspace: projects, references, snapshots, time-lapse videos, source frames, drafts, and temporary files. Only the project copies you explicitly retain in Guest remain.

Sketch Trace does not upload or synchronize artwork to an account server. Support can delete the remote identity but cannot remotely erase device-only files. To remove them, use in-app deletion before requesting support deletion or clear the app's local data through Android settings. Export anything you want to keep first.

What remains and for how long

• Authentication retention: Google states that authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after deletion begins. Security IP logs may remain for a few weeks.
• Analytics and crash diagnostics: these use installation/session identifiers and are not assigned your sign-in identity by the app. Analytics follows the configured property retention period; aggregate reports may remain longer. Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before removal begins. Account deletion does not automatically remove these records; contact support for a separate data request.
• Purchase records: RevenueCat uses a separate generated purchase identity, including for Guest users. Firebase account deletion does not erase this profile or Google Play's transaction records. Purchase records remain as needed to restore paid access and meet legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
• Files outside the account workspace: Guest project copies, gallery media, exported projects, shared files, and backups remain until you remove them in those locations.
• Your Google or Apple account: deleting the Sketch Trace identity does not delete your Google or Apple account.

Purchases and separate data requests

Sketch Trace Pro is a one-time purchase where offered. Account deletion does not refund or transfer a purchase. Restore eligible purchases with the same Google Play account used to buy them. For a request concerning RevenueCat purchase data, analytics, diagnostics, or support correspondence, email the address above and describe the data you want removed. A Google Play order ID, if you have one, can help locate a purchase; do not send payment-card details. We will explain any verification or retention requirements.

If you only use Guest

Guest tracing does not create a Firebase sign-in account. You can delete individual projects and recording drafts in the app. To remove all app-local data, clear its storage in Android settings or uninstall; separately remove any saved media, exports, or backups. Analytics, crash reports, and a RevenueCat purchase profile may exist without signing in, so you may still contact support about those records.
