Delete your SketchAnchor account

Request deletion without the app

Email almokidslearning@gmail.com with the subject Delete my SketchAnchor account. You do not need to reinstall SketchAnchor to make a request.

Send the request from the email address linked to your SketchAnchor account, where possible, and tell us whether you used Apple or Google sign-in. If you used Apple's Hide My Email or cannot access the linked address, tell us so we can help verify account ownership. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, or authentication tokens.

Opening the email link does not submit a request: review and send the message in your email app. We verify ownership before deleting an account, explain any further steps and the expected completion time in our reply, and confirm when the account has been deleted. Requests are handled by our support team; deletion is not automatic when you send an email.

Delete in the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. Choose whether to copy selected projects to Guest or permanently remove the account's local workspace, then complete the sign-in verification and deletion confirmation. Export any artwork you want to keep before starting.

If the remote account deletion fails or is cancelled, your account and its local workspace remain intact. If local cleanup is interrupted after the account is deleted, the app retries cleanup.

What is deleted

• Your SketchAnchor account in Firebase Authentication, including its user identifier, linked sign-in provider information, and any stored display name and email address.
• When you delete in the app, the account's local workspace, including projects, imported references, snapshots, and temporary files, except project copies you explicitly choose to keep in Guest.

SketchAnchor does not upload or synchronize your creative projects to an account server. An email request deletes the remote account but cannot remotely erase files on your devices. To remove local files, use in-app deletion before requesting support deletion, or remove the app's local data through your device settings. Export anything you want to keep first.

What remains and for how long

• Firebase account records: Google states that authentication information is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after account deletion is initiated. Authentication IP logs may remain for a few weeks for security and abuse prevention.
• Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. These reports are not linked by us to your SketchAnchor account, so deleting the account does not automatically delete individual crash reports.
• Files you keep: Guest copies, exported projects, saved photos or videos, shared files, and device backups remain wherever you saved them until you remove them there. We cannot erase those copies remotely.
• Apple, Google, and store purchases: Deleting SketchAnchor's account does not delete your Apple or Google account, cancel or refund purchases, or delete records held by the app store under its own policies.

If you only use Guest

Guest use does not create a SketchAnchor account. You can delete individual local projects in the app. To remove all app-local data, use your device's app-storage controls or uninstall the app; separately remove any exports, photos, videos, and backups you no longer want.
