Almo LearningAlmo Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides Sketch Trace, a general-audience drawing and camera-tracing app. This policy describes the Android App, including its Google Play listing under the name Sketch Trace AR Drawing Paint and package com.sketchanchor.app.
1. Summary
You can trace as a Guest without creating an account. Optional sign-in separates local workspaces. Projects, reference images, snapshots, and Drawing Time-Lapse files stay on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share them. Signing in does not upload, synchronize, or remotely back up your artwork.
Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics collect usage and diagnostic information automatically, including when you use Guest. RevenueCat and Google Play process information needed to offer, verify, and restore Pro purchases. The App also contacts our update service. The sections below explain the information each service receives.
2. Local artwork and Drawing Time-Lapse
The App stores the following on your device:
- project names, references, editing settings, and tracing adjustments;
- snapshots, time-lapse source frames, recording drafts, and completed MP4 videos; and
- temporary files used for imports, processing, recovery, exports, and sharing.
Guest and signed-in workspaces have separate local storage. Drawing Time-Lapse records the camera view of your artwork automatically at your chosen interval. Its video is silent and excludes the reference overlay, grid, tracking markers, and tracing controls. Processing and video assembly happen on the device. The App does not upload camera frames, image or video bytes, thumbnails, filenames, or project content to Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, RevenueCat, advertising providers, or the update service.
A draft remains available locally until you discard it or remove its workspace or App data; temporary recovery files may also be removed by the operating system. Saving or sharing creates a separate copy. Removing an App draft or account does not remove copies already saved to your gallery, shared with another app, exported, or included in device backups.
3. Camera, photos, files, and sharing
Camera permission enables tracing, reference capture, snapshots, and time-lapse recording. Photo and file pickers let you select references and project archives. The App does not request microphone or precise-location permission and records no audio.
Saving a time-lapse adds a video to your device's media library only when you choose Save. Android 10 and later allow this without broad photo or video read access; older Android versions may request the required save permission at that point. Denying permission leaves the local draft available. Sharing opens the system share sheet so you choose the destination. Receiving apps, gallery backup services, and other destinations handle exported content under their own terms.
4. Usage analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used and where the App needs improvement. App-defined events record actions such as opening a trace, saving a project, or starting and sharing a time-lapse. We send these events without custom content or account fields.
The Analytics SDK separately collects installation identifiers, app and device information, session and engagement activity, and approximate location derived from network information. Its automatic events can include app lifecycle and purchase activity. These SDK records are additional to the event names sent by our code. The Android release configuration disables advertising-identifier collection and advertising personalization; this does not disable Analytics installation identifiers or approximate location. Optional adult rewarded ads are described separately below.
Analytics collection is enabled by default and there is currently no in-app switch. We do not set an Analytics user ID from your Sketch Trace sign-in identity or send your name, email, artwork, project names, file paths, or authentication tokens as event data. 5. Crash reports and diagnostics
Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash traces, diagnostic state, app and operating-system versions, device details, installation and session identifiers, and native crash information. We use these reports to investigate crashes, freezes, and other failures. Handled failures reported by our code use fixed technical error codes instead of arbitrary error messages or artwork details. We do not assign your account identifier to Crashlytics.
Automatic reporting is enabled by default and there is currently no in-app switch. Google states that crash traces, extracted native-crash data, and associated identifiers are retained for 90 days before removal from live and backup systems begins. See Firebase's privacy and retention information.
6. Optional sign-in
Firebase Authentication handles optional Google or Apple sign-in on Android, where the provider is configured and available. It processes a user identifier, linked provider information, an available display name and email address, authentication credentials, and network and security information needed to authenticate you. The App displays an available name or email and linked provider names. It does not retain a provider photo in the local account model or put authentication tokens into projects, exports, analytics, or crash-report metadata.
We have no cloud project or remote profile database for Sketch Trace. The remote account removed by in-app deletion is the Firebase Authentication identity. Deleting that identity does not delete your Google or Apple account or the separate purchase profile described below.
7. Pro purchases
Where offered, Sketch Trace Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, with no subscription or recurring renewal. Google Play processes payment details. RevenueCat retrieves offers, validates purchase status, and supports restoration. It processes a generated purchase-customer identifier, product and transaction information, purchase tokens, entitlement status, and technical app/device information. This processing may occur for Guest users and before a purchase while the App checks offers and access.
RevenueCat's generated purchase identity is independent of your optional Firebase sign-in account. We do not provide it with your Firebase user ID, account name, email, or artwork. Signing out or deleting your Sketch Trace account does not automatically remove RevenueCat or Google Play purchase records or refund a purchase. Contact us for a verified request concerning purchase-related personal data. See RevenueCat's privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Updates and support
The App uses Hot Updater with Cloudflare-hosted infrastructure to check for and deliver compatible updates. Requests include the platform, app and update-bundle versions, update channel and rollout group, and SDK version. The hosting service also receives normal network information such as an IP address. These requests contain no artwork or sign-in identifier. See Cloudflare's privacy information.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Share only what is needed for your request. Never send a password, sign-in code, payment-card details, or authentication token.
8a. Optional rewarded ads for adults
Where offered, adults who confirm they are 18 or older may choose to watch a rewarded ad for one Sticky drawing session or one extra reusable project slot. Core tracing remains free for everyone, and Pro users are not offered ads. We do not ask for a date of birth. Skipping an ad or declining privacy choices does not block core tracing.
Appodeal provides mediation and consent handling, with AppLovin and Unity Ads as the selected advertising partners. When you request an ad or open ad privacy choices, these services may process your IP address, approximate location inferred from network information, app and device information, SDK identifiers, consent choices, and ad views, clicks and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and apply privacy choices. The app requests non-personalized ads and blocks Android advertising-ID and location permissions. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. We do not send artwork, camera frames, project names, account emails or Firebase account IDs to advertising services.
Ad-related privacy choices are presented before ad initialization where required. Revisit Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices for available consent or Do Not Sell or Share options. The available choices depend on your region and provider requirements. You may also choose not to request ads. Providers retain ad and consent records under their policies; deleting a Sketch Trace account does not automatically erase their independent records. Contact us for help with rights requests. Some jurisdictions treat advertising disclosures as sharing or sale even without a monetary sale of your information.
Earned access and processed reward-request identifiers are stored locally in the current Guest or signed-in workspace. They are separate from purchases, are not transferred to another account, and are not backed up by a Sketch Trace cloud service. Removing App data or the workspace can remove them.

9. Use, disclosure, and retention
We use information to operate and secure the App, authenticate optional accounts, provide purchases and updates, answer support requests, measure feature use, and fix failures. Google, Apple when used for sign-in, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and support-service providers process information for these purposes. They may process it outside your country. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell your artwork or account contact details. See the optional-ad section for advertising processing and available privacy choices.
- Local content: remains until you delete it or its workspace, clear App data, or uninstall, subject to operating-system cache and backup behavior.
- Authentication: remains until account deletion. Google says most authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after deletion begins; security IP logs remain for a few weeks.
- Analytics: follows the retention period configured for our Google Analytics property. Aggregate reports may remain longer. Contact us for current retention details or a data request.
- Crash reports: follow the 90-day provider retention described above.
- Purchase records: remain as needed to provide and restore paid access and meet legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention requirements. Verified deletion requests are handled separately from Firebase account deletion.
- Support and delivery records: remain as needed to handle your request, operate and secure delivery, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no storage or transmission method guarantees complete security. The applicable legal basis depends on the information and your location, including providing a requested service, legitimate interests in reliability and security, consent where required, and legal obligations.
10. Choices, rights, and account deletion
You may remain in Guest, manage device permissions, delete local projects and drafts, and decide when to export or share. To delete an optional account, open Settings → Account → Delete account, or use the account-deletion request page without reinstalling the App. Email requests require ownership verification and cannot remotely erase files on your devices.
In-app deletion lets you retain selected project copies in Guest before removing the account workspace. Snapshots, time-lapse videos, and recording drafts are not included in those project copies: save or share anything you want to keep first. Local account files are removed only after remote account deletion is confirmed. If a remote result is uncertain, the App protects the workspace while deletion is resolved. Separately saved or shared copies remain under your control.
Analytics, Crashlytics, and RevenueCat use their own identifiers, so Firebase account deletion does not automatically delete those records. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability and complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise your rights; we may need limited information to verify ownership and locate a record.
11. General audience and children's privacy
Sketch Trace is a general-audience creative tool, not an app directed specifically to children. Core Guest tracing does not ask for a name, age, or email. Optional rewarded ads require confirmation that you are 18 or older, without collecting a date of birth. Optional sign-in and purchases are subject to the provider's account and age rules. If you believe a child has provided personal information requiring parental permission or other protections, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
12. Changes and contact
We will update this policy and the date above when practices change and give additional notice when required. The operator responsible for Sketch Trace is Almo Studio LLC.
